
Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
Schnitzer’s ERGs are open to all employees and aim to build a sense of belonging and deepen understanding of our shared purpose. Each ERG maintains an executive sponsor and steering committee to support the group’s administration, while members have the option to fill other leadership and administrative positions.
In fiscal 2022, approximately 10% of our employees were actively enrolled in at least one of our six ERGs and more than 1,200 employees participated in the many ERG events shown below.
